Town Council

In October of 2007 the new Town Council was formed. If you would like to email the Council, please do so at council@town.legal.ab.ca The following Councillors were elected into office:

Albert St. Jean	Albert St. Jean is 41 years old and married to his wife Bobbi of 21 years. Albert has 2 daughters, Amanda and Vanessa. He has lived in Legal his entire life and he enjoys the commmunity spirit that Legal generates. Albert enjoys the challenges of being Mayor as well as working with the community.	Mayor

Gena Bennett	Gena, with her husband Keith, have been residents of Legal for 5 years. She has 3 children, Zachary, Madison and Jacob. Gena takes pride in being involved in the community through the Legal School, Legal School Council, and volunteering with the Legal Fire Department and Ambulance Services. Gena enjoys our community and looks forward to the excitement and challenges of serving on Town Council.	Councillor

Cassandra Ouellette	Cassandra has been a resident of Legal for almost 6 years and loving it! Together with her wonderful husband, Guy Ouellette, they have three beautiful children and a fourth on the way. Serving on Council is a great joy.	Councillor
Corey Brown	Corey Brown was born in Maple Ridge, BC just outside of Vancouver. He has worked in the customer service industry for most of his life. Corey's previous employer was the Municipal District of Bonnyville where he worked for 5 years as a Manager of Information Technology. He has an MBA in Community Economic Development and is currently working on his Local Government Certificate. Corey has a wife, 7 year old son and 4 month old baby girl. Corey enjoys serving the residents of such a beautiful community!	Chief Administrative Officer
Robert Proulx	Robert Proulx has been employed with the Town of Legal for over twenty years and holds the position of Manager of Operations. He and his wife Cathy were raised in the Legal area. They have three sons,Matthew, Justin and Tyler who are all actively engaged in the local hockey program. Robert enjoys the close ties that he has developed with the residents of the community.
